Membership Letter
I think we can all agree it is time to start thinking SPRING and the start of a new golf season. We hope you have endured the unusual 2020 challenges. As everyone realizes, this past year has brought many changes to the way we go about our daily lives, but we are looking ahead to a wonderful year in 2021!
We as owners will continue to do our part in keeping our staff and guests healthy and safe. Some of the measures we will continue to follow-to achieve-this, mandatory mask wearing in the pro shop, sterilizing the carts after each use, no rakes in sand traps, and recommending that leave the flagsticks in the hole. If you chose to ride alone there will be a $10.00 extra charge to do so (we have a limited number of carts.)
The Colonial Golf Course is a unique golfing facility in our area because it provides golfers with a variety of options and it is all located together on the same site:
- Our signature 18 Hole Colonial Course
- Our beautiful 9 Hole Heritage Course
- Our practice range with putting green and sand trap to better your short game.
- Our awesome “Sully's @ Colonial” restaurant and bar All these amenities are right at your fingertips as a member of the Colonial golf Course.
As always, our priority is to make sure all of our guest are provided with a great golfing experience each and every time they visit us here at the Colonial. We encourage feedback so we may continue to improve our business.
This year we are proud to announce that Tim Foster, a teaching pro at Laurel Springs Golf Club located in the Atlanta area will be providing a Junior Golf Clinic for all young golfers or golfers to be in the area. He will also be hosting a clinic for all members of the Colonial. Specific dates and information will be available in the pro shop this spring.
We have always been proud of our staff and the work they do at the Colonial. It says something when all of our employees continue to return and remain an important part of our business. This coming year will be no different, as our pro shop staff, grounds crew, and restaurant staff will all be ready to make 2021 a memorable year for you – our members.
As always, we “Thank You” for your support and for being a member of the Colonial Course in 2021.
